NEW SINGLE 28.3.2025!!
New single “Resa utan mål” is being released on 28th of March 2025, including the b-side “Sekunder som år”. Both songs are written by Pati Hansén. These songs were actually recorded back in 2001 but was never released due to Pati moving to Sweden.
Musicians on these recordings are Dani Strömbäck on piano, Janne Hyöty on guitars, Markus Söderström on bass and Patrick Lax on the drums. Magdalena Böling is on backing vocals on Resa utan mål, and Hanna Norrena on Sekunder som år. Production by Janne Hyöty, co-production by Pati Hansén.

"APATI" is written by Pati with Janne Hyöty, produced and arranged by Janne Hyöty, co-produced by Pati. The single also includes a Dance Mix by Mikko Tamminen and a Vince Mix by Vincent Högberg. Backing vocals by Pati and Magdalena Böling, guitars by Janne Hyöty, clavinet Dani Strömbäck, rhodes Kalle Katz, bass Marcus Söderström, percussion Patrick Lax.
"OM" is written by Pati, arranged, produced and mixed by Janne Hyöty. Janne played the guitar, on piano Dani Strömbäck, bass Marcus Söderström, percussion Patrick Lax.
Pati Hansén is a singer songwriter, born and raised in Vasa, Finland but has lived in Gothenburg, Sweden for a very long time. Pati worked as a radio host for Friday Soul, Funky Sunday and for the Morning Show at Radio X3M. He was also a tv host for the junior-magazine SicSac. After moving to Sweden, he has been a radio host at Swedish Radio P3 show “Christer” and the morning show “Morgonpasset i P3”. His present radio show and podcast "Fatta Familjen” has also gained great success. The show, now broadcasted for six years, talks about different kind of challenges for families.
Pati is manager for the department helping homeless people at Räddningsmissionen, translates as The Rescue Mission, a non-profit social work organisation with Christian values based in Gothenburg (Göteborg), Sweden. Already in his youth, Pati worked in Gothenburg with rehabilitating drug addicts, for 8 months in 1990 he worked in the Chapare jungle in Bolivia with same kind of rehabilitation. He moved to Stockholm where he worked with elderly care, different childcare centers and for Convitus with HIV infected drug addicts.
Pati is also co-author to the book ”Beteendeproblem i socialt arbete bland utsatta” (Natur och Kultur) where he together with famous Swedish/Danish psyckologist Bo Hejlskov Elvén, based on scientific findings, writes about how staff can meet people with problem-creating behaviours in an effective and professional way.
In the 80's Pati was a vocalist in "Pressure Point", in beginning of the 90's he was a vocalist in the soul/funk band "Funk U Two" and in the soul/funk band "The Gumboots" who played at the famous jazz club FASCHING in Stockholm. In mid 90's he was one of the founders of "D-Day", who released the maxi single "Let me in it". Pati was one of the active musicians contributing when The Doo-Bop Club was started in Vaasa, Finland in 1995. Doo-Bop Club is still existing and is today a famous jazz, soul, funk club where many great names have performed.
In 2001 Pati was signed to Dee Kay Records in co-operation with JC Music Production and released the single "APATI" in April and the second single "OM" in August, distributed in Finland and Sweden.
